How to sketch the toucan bird for beginners step by step:
Today, I sketched the beautiful and colourful bird toucan. The toucan is a lightweight bird. Its size is medium to large. It has a large and colourful beak and a short neck. There are brighten colours on it, black, red, yellow and blue. They found in Central and South America. They eat raw fruits. They build a nest and lay the eggs in the nest.
Draw a circle of a toucan sketch:
First, I draw a circle for a toucan as a guideline for facial features.
Sketch the beak of a toucan bird:
Then, I drew a beautiful beak. In front of the circle, draw a curved line upside down. Then, draw another curve at the down of the circle and join both curved lines. Draw another curve line in the middle. This curve line separated into two parts.
Draw the eye of a toucan bird:
Sketch the little circle in the big circle as an eye. Draw another circle inside the circle, the inner circle separated into two parts. Draw the curve lines to show the wrinkles.

Draw another circle beneath the upper circle as a guideline for the chest and neck. Draw a curved line on the circle to attach the other circle, a little distance for the head and neck. Draw a straight line to attach the beak and circle. Draw another curved line to show the chest of the toucan bird.

Sketch the oval shape as a guideline for the body of the toucan bird.
Sketch the tail of a toucan bird:
Draw the straight line tip of the oval shape and draw the other line a little distance to join these straights lines with another line.

Then, I draw two curved lines to the wing. Another two curved lines are draw beneath the tail as feathers.

I draw two half circles a little distance down the body. Draw a straight line up and down to attach the half circle. Similarly, draw another line. Draw the lines down the circle, draw the curve lines for feet. Then, I draw a straight line to show the branch
Refine and clean the sketch of the toucan bird:
After the sketching, clean and refined my sketch. Erase the unnecessary lines. Refining my sketch looks beautiful and awesome.
Dark and light shading of toucan bird sketch:
The last step is shading. I used the dark and light shades in the sketch to show the original shape of the toucan bird, use the dark and light shades to show the features.
