Christmas bell pencil sketch - guide step by step.

 

Today, I  drew a Christmas bell pencil sketch.

Bell shape:

First I draw the basics of the bell. I draw two bells in opposite directions. It’s like the “u” shape,then I draw an oval shape at the bottom. 

Leave the sketch:

I started with the basic shape of leaves. Draw an oval shape to the base of the leaf. Then add veins by drawing lines extending from the centre to the outer edge. Experiment with different shapes and sizes.

Clapper shape:

Inside the both bells a small circle looks like a clapper. I drew a half shape of a circle inside the bell and another one drew a full shape of circle.

Decorate sketch:

My next step is to decorate the bells. First I draw a bow that looks like a beautiful butterfly and draw some leaves bell’s around. I drew some cherries on the upper side of bells and bow.

Shading:

Next step is shading the sketch. Some places appear dark shaded and other places appear in light shades .

Clean and refine:

Now I clean and refine the sketch. I clean the unnecessary lines. Now my sketch looks clean and beautiful.

Summarised: 

First of all I draw two bells in opposite directions,they look like “u”shape.draw little circle inside the bell, then I decorate with bow, leaves and cherries.clean refine the sketch. Erase the unnecessary lines. Clean the sketch. Last I shade the sketch with dark and light shade because shades the sketch to look like the original bell.
