Today I sketch the famous character Santa claus. I chose the santa-clause because he is jolly person who dilvered the gifts for children on christmas day.
Outlines face shape:
First I drew a small circle for the face. This will be the starting point for Santa's face.
Sketch the guidelines of face:
Draw a vertical line down the centre of the and horizontal lines slightly below. These guidelines will help you face features.
Draw santa’s eyes:
Place two oval shapes along the horizontal guideline for Santa's eyes. Leave some space between them.
Draw the santa’s glasses:
Draw the two circles on both sides around the eyes, then another circle draws on the circle. Joint the circle straight line. Draw a double line outside the circle ,looking like glasses.
Draw nose and mouth:
Below the eyes,draw the small circle shape for the nose. The n, draw curved lines between the nose and the bottom of the circle for the mouth.
Sketch the moustache:
Draw the two elongated, curved lines that resemble the curves of parentheses. Curves line the ends upward slightly to give a festival look. Attach the inner end of the moustache to the sides of Santa's beard. Draw the short and curved lines with edges,these curves and short lines make the moustache more fluffy.in the last check the moustache adject perfectly.
Draw santa’s beard:
Draw the fluffy wavy beard around the lower part of the face.use wavy lines to give it a santa-like appearance.
Sketch the hat:
Draw a triangle shape above the head for Santa, make sure that triangle attached with head on top spreads the hat down with wavy lines,and fluffy trim with the bottom of edge, then draw pom-pom at the tip of the hat.
Shading the sketch:
Very important part of this sketch shading. Dark shades the lens,beneath eyes dark shading to appear the wrinkles, the cheeks appear with dark shades. Dark shad on the cap.
Refine and clean the sketch:
In the end, I refined and cleaned the sketch. Clean the unnecessary lines, now my sketch looks clean and beautiful.
Summarised:
I sketch Santa Claus' face. I drew a small circle. I draw the vertical horizontal lines downward and upward draw the eyes, nose,moustache and beard. Then draw the cap top on the face. Draw the glasses on the eyes. Then shading the sketch. The feature appears with dark and light shade.in the last refine and clean the sketch. Erased the unnecessary lines,found the beautiful sketch.
